This exam satisfies the theory part of the Core of Knowledge for Laser and IPL at level 4 for approx 5 credits = 50 hours. Upon completion, the graduate will be able to apply knowledge and understanding to clinical application for hair reduction, treatment of common skin problems, rejuvenation and tattoo removal using laser and IPL devices. You should also complete a practical course or assessment building a portfolio of evidence. You can either undertake live Zoom classes, submit practical videos or come to our clinic for a practical day. Check with your local licensing and insurance if they will accept these. Candidates who wish to come to the UCHSc in Glasgow for clinical training can do so for an extra £100 per day. This is booked on an individual basis between the candidate and the tutor.
